Sliplining
is a method by which pipes are inserted into an existing line by
pulling or pushing
continuous or short-length pipes.
Where a decrease in hydraulic capacity is acceptable, Sliplining is the cheapest renewal option.
Short
Pipe Lengths
The short pipe length system is used on sewer lines where manholes are used for access.
The pipe
sections are winched / jacked into the sewer between manholes.
The pipe
segments are joined by screwed thread or by pushing together with a
locking arrangement
with gasket.
